of town, providing north-south
access to all significant nearby
commercial areas, including the
San Francisco Bay Area. The
Sonoma County airport is 15
minutes away and there is a
city-owned airport for private
aircraft nearby. There are local
and regional transit systems. A
municipal bus runs 6 days-a-week
and County bus service is
available daily. Greyhound Lines
and an Amtrak shuttle provide
additional visitor and passenger
service. Airporter buses are
available in Santa Rosa for
direct transportation to the San
Francisco and Oakland airports.
