Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve

Located 10 miles west of Healdsburg on Dry Creek Road. Sate recreation area for boating, swimming, camping, picnicking; fee for entrance.

Fort Ross State Historic Park
Located southwest of Healdsburg and 12 miles north of Jenner on Coast Hwy 1, this 3,386 acre park was Russia's southernmost California outpst. One remaining historic structure plus reconstructed replicas of stockade, Russian Orthodox Chapel, other buildings.

Russian River Memorial Beach
Located just minutes from the town of Healdsburg on the Russian River. Stretch of sandy beaches for swimming and picnicking.

Salt Point State Park

Sonoma Coast State Beach
Located between Jenner and Bodega Bay on Coast Hwy 1. Steep clifs, wide beaches, 1,000 acres of dunes in 5,000-acre park stretching 10 miles. Seal rookery at Jenner, whale watching at Bodega Head.

There are 19 golf courses in Sonoma County, 17 of which are open to public play. Of the 17 daily fee courses 11 of them are championship courses and one 18 hole executive course.
